Every Monday morning for 52 weeks I painted a new and different flower, or tree blossom, picked from my small garden – Watercolour Painting

£1,500.00

There is one exception, a flower from the interior of the house which has sentimental resonance. To the left of the flowers are the months, painted in the colours of that month. Each week after the watercolour dried I covered each square with paper so I could not see the previous flowers. During the 52 weeks I had not seen one flower at a time. Therefore this is a painting as much about time as it is a botanical illustration.

Mounted Watercolour in Oak Frame: 108cm X 64cms.
